Dota 2 turneringen The International er en af verdens største og mest prestigefyldte turneringer inden for e-sport nogensinde. Det er Valve, der har udviklet spillet, som afvikler The International. Nu vil Ninjas in Pyjamas stjernen, Adam "friberg" Friberg, have Valve til at arrangere en lignende turnering i Counter-Strike.
Det skriver han i fire tweets på Twitter. Det sker dagen efter historien om den enorme præmiesum på 33 millioner kroner ramte forsiden på Gaming.dk.

On that note, I think it's very important for CS:GO to get a Dota2-like spectator client and selling tickets as they have in Dota2 to grow.

Ud af de 33 millioner kroner i præmiesummen til The International har Valve selv spædet til med 8,5 millioner kroner. Resten er finansieret via donationer fra fans. Som det fremgår af Adam "friberg" Fribergs tweets, er det dog ikke pengene, men turneringsstrukturen, han vil have.
