Valve har sendt en mindre opdatering afsted, hvor der er fjernet to våben fra matchmaking. De to våben er det tidligere problembarn, R8 Revolveren, og Negev’en, som for en stund ikke vil være at finde i matchmaking, da Valve vil ændre dem.

Valve har dog allerede lavet nogle små ændringer til Negev’en som bl.a. ny lyd. Og Valve skriver at, Negev'en skal kunne presse fjenden med dens voldsomme firepower, og at den, modsat de andre våben, åbenbart mister recoil over tid

Negev – The Negev has received a more significant rework, receiving traits that promote suppressing the enemy. Wild at first, the Negev’s shots settle over time into a deadly controllable beam.

R8 Revolver – The firing delay on the Revolver has been significantly reduced, but otherwise the weapon has the same high-powered shot with great mobility.

De to våben bliver nok aldrig brugbare i den profesionelle scene, og sidst Valve introducerede R8 Revolveren, så var det et åbenlyst eksempel på, at de ofte har været helt ude af trit med, hvad og hvordan tingene fungerer i deres eget spil. Forhåbentligt er det ikke tilfældet denne gang. Du kan gense et par af de mest fjollede highlights med R8 Revolveren, før den blev nerfed.

   

Udover ændringerne til de to våben, så kan folk, som har en Five Year Veteran Coin, bestille en ægte af slagsen her. For den sølle sum af $45 dollars eller 315 kroner. 

 

Og der er kommet en ændring til interfacet, så du nemmere kan være social i spillet. Med både tidligere teammates og lobbier.

Med udfordringerne i CS:GO, og den opblussede debat omkring ESL og VAC-bans, er det så det korrekte sted, at Valve bruger sine ressourcer?
