  • Kevin "Ex6TeNZ" Droolans
  • Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom
  • Richard "shoxie" Papillon
  • Nathan "NBK" Schmitt
  • Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux

Manden bag det hele, Johann Thiesson, skriver følgende på holdets hjemmeside:

Hello,

Today, I have an important piece of news to announce. After 5 years of existence, 5 years at the top level, 5 years traveling around the world and representing our sponsors with dignity, 5 years beating our hearts out, Team VeryGames organization will shut down at the end of December 2013. It’s a sad news for us considering how unbelievable the adventure was, on every aspect: sportsmanship, professionalism and relationship building along the way. An adventure that brought, I hope, to all of us who got involved, enjoyment and a beneficial experience. I take advantage of the opportunity to thank every single person who contributed to make this adventure possible, and particularly to the staff members and the players. The only reason why Team VeryGames will close is the lack of financial support. Until this year, a full season asked tens of thousands of euros to be invested into the team. For 2014, the team’s ambitions will triple this requirement and Team VeryGames will not be able to cover those needs. We couldn’t or didn’t know how to evolve fast enough for this.

The 2012 season is not over, there are still major events to come, and I hope with all my heart that the team’s star will shine until the very last moments.

The end of the structure doesn’t lead to the end of the team. The motivation seems to be constantly growing, and I wish that the momentum sustains with a new organization, to continue to have fun and to pursue the dream.
Også holdets manager, Jérôme "NiaK" Sudries, har lidt at sige omkring situationen:
So many things to tell... imperishable memories, meetings, trips... An experience that made me more mature... Here are the first thoughts that come to my mind.

As it is time to make the review, I think we can be proud of what we achieved together. What we often forget is that the team's success is not only due to its players talent. The environment is key and we had the chance to work in trustful and safe conditions throughout the last 4 years.

Team VeryGames has been a motivation for us and even beyond, for many competitors in France. Without this project, we would not be here... This is the reason why I want to thank Johann who worked his heart out and involved so much means to bring us to what we are now.

Thank you to the players and to the many volunteers who participate in our project, thank you to the VeryGames people, thank you to Razer and Drew for their support and obviously thank you to the fans... but the journey is not over, we still need you! GO VG!
Til sidst giver Team VeryGames' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive-mandskabs-holdkaptajn, Ex6TenZ , følgende ord:
A statement is too short to sum up everything I have to say... I will discuss it more within an interview later this month with great joy.

Long story short, what I will keep in mind about this cooperation is good harmony, work and achievement. Team VeryGames brought a lot to me and my teammates as well as the french scene.

Thank you for being a foundation on the CS scene because surely the french scene would not be what it is now without you.

Thank you for making the daring choice of putting your trusting in our team in 2009... It was a great boost, and I will have the occasion to thank you for many other things during future interviews.

I want to thank Team VeryGames staff and teammates... But mostly Johann Thiesson who is at the root of all this. He wanted to bring something new by creating the first professional CS team in France, by bringing a certain maturity, a certain professionalism... Thank you for everything.
