Det russiske League of Legends-mandskab, Gambit Gaming, har i dag annonceret, at Edward "Edward" Abgaryan vender tilbage til starfemmeren. Den russiske support har de seneste par måneder været at finde i den amerikanske League of Legends Championship Series, men har nu atter engang vendt snuden mod Europa.
For at gøre plads til Edward har mandskabet valgt at afskedige Erih "Voidle" Sommermann, der ellers blev tilføjet for kun få måneder siden. Gambit Gaming kom på en 5.-8. plads ved Season 3 World Championship og håber nu på, at Edward kan give dem endnu mere succes.

While I'm a bit sad that I won't be playing with Gambit Gaming in the next season, I am still very thankful for the opportunity they gave me and the time we spent together. Thanks to them and the help of Riot I was able to fulfil a dream I had had since the start of the year. I wish them luck in the S4 LCS and hope to meet them again on the fields of justice maybe under a different team.
I et interview til organisationens hjemmeside fortæller Edward, at han relativt tidligt vidste, at han gerne ville tilbage til den europæiske scene:
My plans were different, but I was sure that it was possible to return, provided they won't do so well and I will do poorly in the US - we didn't even qualify to the S3WC. I thought I had a fair chance to return.
When I returned to Omsk, my hometown, I played a lot of solo ranked. We streamed a lot of duoq games with Alex - everyone saw that. One day he offered me to join Gambit and I decided to give it a try.
I knew that I was going to leave Curse two weeks after joining this team. I had a plan of what I was going to do. I tried to qualify to S3WC, I think I played really well against Dignitas and CLG, but something didn't work out. I knew that I was going back to Europe to form a team and now I am back in Gambit.
Holdet skal nu træne for alvor, hvis de har i sinde at levere samme gode præstation, som de gjorde i den forgangende sæson af LCS. Om hvorvidt tilføjelsen af Edward får en positiv indvirkning, får vi at se senere, når turneringen igen skydes i gang.
