Today, we announce the departure of Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg. Devilwalk has been a vital part of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive division since Fnatic's original lineup in 2013. During his time as a player, Fnatic defeated NiP to win Dreamhack Winter 2013, the first major in CS:GO history. With this success, Fnatic became a household name once more, challenging its legacy in 1.6 by starting a new one in Global Offensive.
In 2014, Devilwalk hung up his mouse and keyboard and transitioned to coaching for Fnatic. The new recruits Freddy "KrimZ" Johansson and Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer went on to continue Fnatic's healthy reign in CS:GO. With Devilwalk as coach, Fnatic went on to win ESL One Katowice 2015 and became the first CS:GO organisation to win two majors. - fanatic pressemeddelelse.
Devilwalk has been an exceptional player and coach for Fnatic, but he will now take a break from coaching and return to active play with former teammate and Dreamhack Winter 2013 champion Andreas "Schneider" Lindberg in team "1337". We wish him nothing but the best and can't wait to cheer him and the new squad on.
Fnatic and Devilwalk will always have close ties; he has made a massive impact on everyone in the organisation - from the players to the staff. We wish him nothing but the best and can't wait to cheer him and his new team on. - fanatic pressemeddelelse.

Jonatan has since our CS:GO division’s inception in 2013 been a pivotal part of our team’s foundation and success, both during his time as an active player, and of course in the coaching role he took on last year when we added Krimz and Olofmeister to our roster.
Even though we will certainly miss Jonatan’s contributions to our team and his amazing character, we are at the same time very excited to follow his return as a professional player.
I’m positive that Jonatan will have a great opportunity to add more success stories to his resume and I have nothing but respect and understanding for his decision to return as a player, considering his young age and a game that is still rapidly growing. - "cAn".
Thanks to everyone who is supportive of my choice to return as a player. I will always love and respect the people behind the Fnatic organisation. I've been able to experience so many amazing things over the years and I will always cherish those moments. I wish the Fnatic boys the best and look forward to the future! - Devilwalk.
Det var blandt andet her, at fnatic vandt deres anden CS:GO major.
