“This is an exciting project for us and I strongly believe this will grow Counter-Strike even bigger when girls find out what a fantastic game it is. We will give the girls the right tools and support they need to succeed and with this in mind, we believe we can blur the border between boys and girls. We believe we can create an entirely new ranking in the game in which girls are also involved. We hope that more teams and organisations will understand the importance of girls in eSports”.

We believe that eSport needs to be a forerunner in showing the aspect of equal opportunities since males and females have the same conditions to compete. Given the same time and possibilities to practice and play we are certain that female teams will be competing with males and be as good in the future. This is why we have decided to support our first female team, which consists of a mix of Scandinavian girls living in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. - LGB eSports.

Holdet er nu bestående af:

  •  Aurora "aurora" Lyngdal
  • Lizette "L.K.S" Scheich
  •  Mathilde "Mattye" Wiik
  •  Hanne "HaySS" Skaardal
  •  Hege "Hejde" Botnen

“Our goal for the future is to challenge the best female teams and rise to the very top. We also want to continue playing in mixed tournaments and show the community that female teams have what it takes to compete with the guys. We strive to be excellent role models in the community throughout, both for the fans and our fellow gamers. Streaming and good use of social media is important to us and we will always have a positive attitude and smiles on our faces even if we would lose” - Team LGB eSports Female
