Luminosity nupper ptr - Hiko til Nihilum

Der skal ikke gå mere end et par timer fra at Peter "ptr" Gurney officielt ikke længere var en del af Counter Logic Gaming, før han fandt sig et nyt hold. Den amerikanske sniper erstatter Arya "arya" Hekmat, som kun fik en måned på holdet, efter at han i sidste måned tog pladsen fra Warren "hades" Rettich.

Det er det andet prominente navn Luminosity henter inden for en uge. Det amerikanske mandskab har ligeledes hentet det svenske talent, Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi, som blev fri på marked efter hans tidligere hold gik ned. Han erstatter Carey "frozt" Kertenian i den aktive startfemmer.

Luminosity består nu af følgende fem:

•  Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi
•  Alexander "LeX" Deily
•  Peter "ptr" Gurney

Holdet har frigivet følgende udtalelse om udskiftningen:

"Today we announce that our good friend and amazing teammate Arya, has decided to step down from active play indefinitely. Arya has gracefully been juggling full time work, and a new born baby on top of being Luminosity's in-game leader. The team's practice schedule and competitive leagues' new schedules will be very difficult if not impossible for Arya to adhere to with a full plate. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Arya for his services. He has been nothing but professional and a wonderful teammate. He will be missed. We wish him and his new family all the best.

With that, we would like to welcome Peter “ptr” Gurney to the Luminosity Gaming family. Peter will assume the role of primary AWP, while Erik “fl0m” Flom will become a full time rifle. Erik is no stranger to rifling and actually earned his way into the Invite division as a primary rifle during seasons 13, 15, 16 with teams such as XTS and Monomaniac Esports."
