Han var publikumsfavorit under sin tid på den europæiske scene, men er falmet gevaldigt efter skiftet til Evil Geniuses og nordamerika - nu er han også midlertidigt sat af holdet, da Shin "Helios" Dong-jin kommer på prøve i junglen, hvor Stephen "Snoopeh" Ellis normalt figurerer.

Sidste LCS Split endte med en 7. plads, men Evil Geniuses formåede dog at beholde deres plads efter en 3 - 1 sejr over Cloud9 Tempest i Promotion opgøret. Sidste Splits skuffende resultat har de dog taget med videre til Summer Split, hvor de efter otte kampe indtager 7. pladsen, trods indskiftningen af Johnny "Altec" Ru.

Hovedpersonen, Snoopeh, som højst sandsynligt må overvære denne uges LCS fra sidelinien, skriver følgende på sin Facebook side.

We will be using Helios in scrims this week and most likely trying him out this week in LCS to see how he fares in an LCS setting - I'll be watching closely and doing my best to help the team achieve a win, having the ability to watch the team from the outside will hopefully help me identify strengths and weaknesses within the team and my own performance.
It's a very awkward social dynamic for a team member or a team to be in, it's not an easy one - Myself and the team are doing our best to adapt and deal with the situation presented before us as best we can and we hope to get some results that our fans have long been waiting for. I could talk in much more length about our team, but this has already been quite a long post.. I hope this gave you some insight onto what is happening with me specifically and our team as a whole.

TLDR: Helios will be trying out for the team, I'm not retiring.. I'm 100% committed to being a competitive player. Teams hit a rough patch, some of which is out of our control but we are doing our best to fix it - have to avoid letting it be infectious, mentality has to be positive.
