Den prestigefyldte svenske organisation, Ninjas in Pyjamas, annoncerede i går, at de sponsorerer Dota 2 holdet, tidligere kendt som Lajons. Af bemærkelsesværdige spillere, har de Fnatics tidligere carry, Era. De har også tidligere Alliance-standin, Apemother på holdet, som bl.a. spillede en rigtig god turnering for dem, da han var i Kina med resten af Alliance.
Om deres nye hold havde CEO, Per Liliefelth at sige:
”We continue on our path to build an eSport powerhouse based in the Nordics. Swedish and Scandinavian eSports have always been successful and in the frontline of development in the world of Gaming. We are proud to see that so many eSport-stars want to join the NiP colors and represent us on the global scene. I’m personally impressed with the players in Lajons who have come so far without any backing at all. Now we will do everything in our power to give them the best possible conditions to grow with the NiP organisation”

Holdet er i disse dage i aktion i I-league, hvor de her i morges blev sendt til lowerbracket efter et tæt 2-1 nederlag til kampens favoritter, LGD. De skal efter tidsplanen i gang igen senere i dag.
